Holy Jeez, we are exhausted! Why? Making cookies. Its exhausting! Sure, sure…making a whole batch of decorated sugar cookies for a Halloween celebration sounds like fun. Well, that cheeriness only lasts until you are elbow deep in sticky frosting and you still have about 20 more pumpkins and bats to decorate. Greg was so cute as he spent about 5 minutes each on the first 3 pumpkins, making them perfect. And after that, he came to the dark side, meaning my method of frosting and dumping sprinkles and sparkles all over them in a haphazard manor. We were working in bulk, and we had no other options. In addition to the 3 dozen expertly decorated cookies, we also made a personal favorite: Puppy Chow (aka Muddy Buddies). Darn that stuff is good. And super healthy to boot!
Here’s some photo documentation of our Friday night. The sugar, the cookies, the dishes and the Phil, just dying for attention! He finally got some “tiny punches” time (that’s when he kneads Greg’s bicep obsessively) with Greg later tonight.
